Daisy First Aid Central Scotland

The course will be run by the lovely Kirsty from Daisy First Aid Central Scotland.

Kirsty is a Paediatric First Aid Trainer.  She provides local baby and child first aid classes to parents, parents-to-be, grandparents, family members, carers, or anybody spending time with children including babysitters, teachers, soft play staff (the list is endless …) in the Stirlingshire & The Scottish Borders and surrounding areas.

Having worked in the NHS for 15 years as a Clinical Scientist specialising in microbiology, she has seen first hand how important it is to seek medical advice when it is necessary, and knowing the right time to do this, and when a little bit of first aid goes a long way.

As a mum to a teenage son who has not known the meaning of danger since he was born, plays rugby, and any other sport he can get involved in, and a daughter who is a keen gymnast and dancer, she has personal experience of a wide variety of first aid emergencies, from cuts and grazes to broken bones!
